Near Perfect TV Stand!

Until I stumbled upon the Jual San Francisco Oak TV stand I was beginning to think that we would never find a stand that ticked all our boxes. We wanted an oak corner stand no more than 50cm high and suitable for our 48" TV. It should have no cupboards but have two shelves wide enough to install our sound bar just beneath the TV and our DVD recorder and HDD recorder below. The Jual offered all these things and with style! Although I knew from the specifications that the height of the top shelf was perfect for our 98cm long sound bar I wasn't sure if the width would work. As a result I phoned Lounge Living and they couldn't have been more helpful. They couldn't answer my question immediately but contacted Jual Furnishings on my behalf and called me back later that day. The only thing that prospective purchasers of the San Francisco should be aware of, and something that I hadn't thought about beforehand, is the depth of the shelves. Our HDD recorder is fine but our elderly DVD recorder is 31cm deep and due to the curved back of the cabinet, the recorder must be placed near to the centre of the cabinet. If moved too far to either side it protrudes from the front of the cabinet. Being made of wood it was very simple to fit a 6 gang surge protected lead to the back of the cabinet thereby allowing most of the leads to be lifted off the floor for a neater effect!
